Madvapes Flash light mod Diagram

This Diagram was made to help someone make a Madvapes Flashlight mod and hopefully will help you and others as well.

Using one of these Flashlights from MadVapes

I used this switch but there are others you may prefer

Easily fits an 18500 battery but all I had was 14500 batteries and this diagram shows how to use one of them. You do not need a adapter for the 18500 battery and would be the way to go.

Hope this helps and hope it worked for you for I Love this Mod.

Picture of my Flashlight Mod I glued a cap on my button.

Thanks for the diagram Connman 8-)

My first "MadVapes Flashlight" mod I nicknamed "Beldar" (from the Coneheads, for all the old school SNL fans)because the switch I used made me have use another part from another flashlight in order to fit the connector. It worked out well the cone popped right into the flashlight body and the hole was perfect size for a 510 connector.
I can use 18500 battery drops right in, or a 14500 with the sleeve I cut from 55mm of schedule 40 pipe. I also took off the master on/off switch so I can stand it on end.
Unfortunately, still no LEDS

It took me a while to get it to work but I finally did! May I suggest one more pic showing the modifications you made at the atty end? I couldn't get the gold sealed battery connector to solder the ground very well. I also had some trouble getting a solder joint to the body as well. What I ended up doing is: I stripped a length of copper wire and mad a full ring to contact the body. I used the top from a water bottle (it had an inner lip that worked well), ground it down with a dremel and used the lip as backing for the copper wire ground ring. There has to be a better/easier way to do it than that though!
